DEAR POLLY - I solved the prob-
lem of flies clinging to my screen
door in the following way: I cut a
piece of plastic the size of the screen
into approximately half-inch strips,
leaving them joined by about 5 inches
on the top. I taped this to the door
over the screen. The strips blow in the
wind and chase the flies away, still
allowing air to come through. —
