Basket Weaving Class In
structed by Mrs Boggess
A group of women Interested
In basket weaving are meeting
twice each week at the Christian
parsonage where they are mast-
ering the art under the able di-
rections of Mrs Boggess
Basket weaving Is an Interest-
ing handicraft and the class feels
that the time is well spent In
the endeavor to master the art
Now comes the time of the year '
when a man makes a fool out of
himself wearing too much clothes
Many of us as we review our
days or lives for that matter
come to the realization that our
gravest faults lie not In the do-
ing of mean and wicked acts but
In neglecting to do those things
which should be done
We Intend to go to see the in-
valid who lives around the cor-
ner and when we do finally get
there we make a mental vow to
repeat our visit every day But
other matters claim our atten-
tion and one day we read In the
papers that she Is no more
We probably know some fair-
ly good friends who are not so
well eff and we make a mental
note to send them some of Jun-
ior’s clothing which Is perfectly
good but outgrown by him Be-
fore we can get up the energy

struation periods X took Cardul
and a as all right again After I
was married when I felt all run-

resorted to Cardul and was helped”

they slip our minds and one
morning we read In the paper
where a mother of six children
has committed suicide or a lone-
ly sick girl has closed the doors
and turned on the gas
It is amazing what a few dol-
lar or even a little nelghborll-
rvess can mean to someone who
really needs them We cannot
gauge the result of a smile and
a few friendly w'ords It sounds a
little absurd but who knows how
many heartaches or even deaths
might be prevented by attending
to these seemingly small matters
I believe It was Margaret Sang-
er who wrote:
“It Isn’t the thing we do dear
But the things we've left un-
done That causes a bit of heartache
At the setting of the sun"
And not only heartache to our-
