school again after a week's ab
sence on account of sickness
The Tom Thumb team played
a return game with the Cleo boys
on our court Saturday
I Burrel Johnson is in school a
gain after a week of sickness
Those who are absent from
school on account of sickness
are Beatrice Deavers Bernice
Cass and Clarance Johnson
Grant Marteeny is out of
school this week blacksmithing
The'reason we feel so cheerful
this week is because the term
exams are over and the majority
of us got passing grades which
should make us thankful alter
such hard exams and sleepless
nights spent in 'craming' for
them-
The Ancient History class
has finished their ancient history
and is starting in modern history
with some Memories of the Past
Ages which are none too pleas-
ant so they tell us
A freshman received a danger
ous wound last week from which
she hap been suffering very
much altbo she is able to be up
She says it’s 'awful' the wound-
ed member being a finger on the
right hand We have been un-
able to get the particulars but
we heard the Injury was sustain
e8 on a motorcycle trip
The game was very interest-
ing for the first half as neither
made but a few points The last
half however was not so intrest-
ing for our boys as they piled
up a score of 13 to the visitors 6
There was a good crowd out con
sidering that the game was not
widely advertised
Smnth and Eight Grades
It is reported that Letha Bar
rett is no better
Goldie Delano was absent-last
Thursday
Mr JW Higginbothan visited
the seventh and eighth grade
room Friday afternoon
