"let The People Choose”
Is the slogan of Hon Dick T
Morgan a plain man for a plain pe
ople fearless able and honest not
a demagogue — not a grand stander
— not a man who bears stains of de-
ceit or conceit but a man of effici-
ency and capability and a friend of
the masses
Dick Morgan needs no introduc-
tion to the voters of the Second
District He has been a resident
of Oklahoma for nineteen long
years and has fought the battles of
the Republican Party from territor-
ial infancy and who is now in the
midst of a campaign for his people
and one which is bound to bring
success to himself and his constitu-
ents Dick Morgan quiet unassu-
ming plain able fearless and hon-
est with twenty-two years of hon-
est toil on the farm has never wav-
ered when party principles were at
stake He has always been found in
the front ranks fighting for right
and justice ne accomplished many
good things in the fight for free
homes labored earnestly and untir-
ingly in behalf of Statehood and
made many special trips to Wash-
ington in the interest of his friends
From his residence of uineteen
years in Oklahoma Dick Morgan
is known by every republican in the
State Republicans should adopt
the Slogan:
“Let The People Choose!’
Make no mistake but send a man
who has the interest of the people
at heart to Congress Let’s ignore
this man Fulton who plays to the
gallery gods this man who came to
Oklahoma three years ago from
Dakota and who has spent two years
of that time in Washington Let’s
leave him at home for awhile to get
acquainted with the people and
needs of his district
Send Dick T Morgan with nine-
teen years residence in Oklahoma to
Congress and cut out a man who be-
came a Candidate for Congress be-
fore be had a residence in Oklaho-
ma and whose name bad not been
placed in the Oklahoma City direc-
tory until biselection Let’s adopt
the Slogan:
“LET THE PEOPLE CHOOSE”
Congressman Fulton’s attempt to
discredit Dick T Morgan in the
eyes of the people has proved a
boomerang Some of his democrat-
ic friends are making apologies for
him because of the fact that bis
short residence here has not offered
sufficient time to ascertain just who
is who and why
Mr Fulton realizes that he made
a serious blunder when he sought to
question the reputation of a plain
honest man who represents a plain
honest people
The whirlwind campaign inauger-
ated by Dick Morgan the friend of
the masses and a man who aided in
securing free homes has alarmed
Fulton to such an extent that he
has engaged Sen Owen to make 11
speeches for him in the Second
District The people were fooled
once but they won’t be fooled
again
The whimper of Governor Haskell
that he had receivod threatening
letters is one of the funniest things
that has happened in his bulldozing
administration said a Chickasbs
Democrat when Haskell spoke there
last Monday “It looks to me that
it was a typical Haskell scheme to
bid for public sympathy and I
doubt that he ever received a threat-
ening letter unless it came from a
lawyer notifying Haskell that be
would be sued unless he paid a
debt”
