- IN MEMORIAM
In memory of J£ps Sisan Speer
who died at ijpr home in this county
February 5th i904 She was the
wife AJ' Speer deceased and leaves
two daughters and five sons to mourn
y their loss ' ' '
She has gone to be with Jesus
Whom she trusted in her youth
And His love did light her pathway
He did guide her into truth
True s’jf had her joy and sorrows
’Tis the lot of womankind
Patient yes and cheerful always
Solpce she knew where to find
When she came to death’s cold river
'And to cross her time had come
Friends with outstrechedj hands stood
“ waiting
Glad to say to her “come hbme”
' This we know for when death struck her
With his cold and icy hands
She did reach her hands to Heaven
And did try to grasp tljeir hands
"Who do I see’’ was her language
And she spoke her sister’s name
Who before had taken passage
To that fair and happy land
