State law makes no re-

But the excise board is given
the authority to provide for
the cities if it chooses.
In Oklahoma County, there
has been a long-standing cus-

mills to Oklahoma City and
other municipalities.
Earlier this year, county
commissioners agreed unani-

three officials said they
would merely present county
agencies' estimates of need
and make no accompanying
plea to the excise board.
