at 311,000 bales.
This represented an aver-
age of 243 pounds of lint per
acre, from 612,000 harvested
acres. Nationally, the crop
was fixed at 14,867,000 bales.
A co-ordinated program for
handling visitors to the Okla-
homa City Open golf tourna-
ment next week was to be
organized Wednseday after-
noon by the Greater Oklaho-
ma City Private Club asso-
ciation in a meeting at the
Skirvin Hotel, called by M.
M. McCullough of the Con-
gress Inn.
