CHICAGO — (UPD-The gauch-
os or Argentine cowboys are cited
by an Argentine dental journal as
local proof that fluorides are not
harmful to human health over a
lifetime.
The American Dental Associa-
tion said the journal articles said
the vigorous inhabitants of the Ar-
gentine pampas have lived for gen-
erations in areas having naturally
fluoridated water and never were
affected in health or in their longe-
vity.

CHEYENNE, Wyo. - (UPI> —
Cheyenne Fire Chief L.W. Warlau-
mont in 1890 told city officials mem-
bers of volunteer fire departments
in the then-small town were badly
in need of rubber boots.
“1 call your attention to the fore-
men of different fire companies
asking for rubber boots,” Warlau-
mont said in a letter to the city
fathers. “Men are getting their feet
wet at every fire, which causes
colds and in some cases sickness.
This could be avoided if their feet
were protected.”
Center North, Room 130 and must
be returned there by 5 p.m. Fri-
day.
