“The Eagle’s Nest”
Coming to The Odeon
Edwin Arden’s famous play of
Western life Saturday's big
feature at the Odeon -
The most popular of all western
photoplays “The Eagle’s Nest”
by Edwin Arden is the principal
feature at the Odeon Theater
Saturday night This s famous
film has probably had the longest
and most successful run of any
picture thrown on the screen
and has been shown oftener to I
same audiences than any other
set of reels made There Is no
single secret which would account j
for its remarkable popularity j
Experts all agree that “The
Eagle's Nest" is the ideal photo-1
play in that it combines a fasci-
nating love story an abundance1
of wild exciting western realism
and the most beautiful scenery i
that has ever been worked into a 1
motion-picture drama These 1
films were made in the ’ heart of j
the “Rockies” the principal action '
taking place midst the gorgeous 1
peaks and canyons of the Great
Divide and “The Garden of the
Gods" No painted scenery was
used th setting being the Colo-
rado Rockies at the season when
the foliage is said to be without
a rival in any quarter of the
world ''
The story of “The Eagle’s Nest"
is a powerful one and deals with
the days when brave men and
brave women dared the hard-1
ships of the west long before the i
’Iron Horse” found its way across
the plaihs Philip Dane and his i
