Chem Professors
Study Molecules
Two OU chemistry professors
are conducting texearcb which will
increase man's knowledge of the
protein molecule
For the second straight year Dr.
Harold F Aftxprung and Dr. Slier-
ill D Ulnistian both associate
ptolessors of chemistry have re-
ceived an $11500 grant from the
National Institutes of Health to
study the protein molecules.
The funds ate administered by
the OU Research Institute.
The researchers will study the
interaction between a particular
portion of the protein molecule
and a vva'er molecule.
