Grace Kelly T o Add
Movie To Career
MONTE CARLO (UPI)
Grace Kelly who gave up a mil-lion-dollar
film career to become
Princess Grace of Monaco will
return to Hollywood this sum-
mer to make at least one movie
it was announced Monday.
The aristocratic blonde will make
the picture with director Alfred
Hitchcock with whom she achiev-
ed stardom in his typically sus-
penseful stories.
It was while she was making
one of the Hitchcock movies "To
Catch a Thief" on location on the
Riviera that she met Prince Rain-
ier. In 1956 when she married the
prince she said she was giving up
her film career.
A spokesman for Prince Rainier
Emile Cornet announced that Miss
Kelly would take advantage of a
vacation in the United States this
summer to make the movie in
California.
Based On Novel
She will -play the prinicpal role
in a story based on a novel by
the English writer Winston Gra-
ham "Marnie.
In Hollywood a spokesman for
the princess said Hitchcock now
making a new movie in northern
California was a good friend of
Miss Kelly and often visited her
in Monaco.
He has always urged her to
resume acting in films the spokes-
man said. "It is an open secret
that producers have been submit-
ting scripts to her continuously.
The princess never said she
had given up her film career for
certain. The prince has Dever ob-
jected to her doing another movie
at the appropriate time. He will
definitely come over to watch her
work."
Money No Matter
The spokesman; who refused to
go into figures denied that Miss
Kelly was making the movie for
an unusually high salary.
"Money he said "has nothing
to do with it. The prince and prin-
cess are far from being hard up
very far from it.
Other members of the cast for
the suspense film have not been
selected yet. It will be filmed
mostly in Hollywood but the
spokesman said there might be
some location shots made which
would take the princess to other
cities in the United States.
Sources here said that when the
princess married Rainier she was
still under contract to make one
more film at least for Hitchcock
who also directed her in Rear
Window and Dial M. for Mur-
der. She also co-starred with Bing
Crosby and Frank Sinatra in a
bouncy musical High Society.
Returns in Fall
The palace announcement said
that she would return to Monaco in
November after making the film.
No other details of the movie or
her trip were announced.

have raised quite a commotion
and with good reason. There is no
Clyde Shides!
There is a Lloyd Sheets how-
ever and this is the name by
which our piccolo virtuoso is most
commonly known. Sound confus-
ing? Well this is the story given
by Shides (alias Sheets) friends.
Clyde Shides Poteau senior
has always had an ear for mu-
sic. His mother tried to discour-
age his piccolo playing but that
didnt stop Shides. He practiced

Friends of the princess said
they thought it likely that she
might ;be part owner of the 'movie.
They said that the princess agreed
to make the film out of friend-
ship for Hitchcock and had no in-
tention of resuming a regular mo-
vie career.
Since she married the prince
there have been various reports
tht she would return to the mo-
vies. At one time they were so
numerous that Rainier issued a
denial saying his wife had finish-
ed with films.
There also have been printed re-
ports lately in some European
newspapers that Miss Kelly
mother of two children was ex-
pecting another baby. Mondays
announcement seemed to spike
them.

president of his high school band.
When he came to OU Shides
limited his playing to a small
group of friends because he was
afraid people might think he was
a sissy. His friends were so im-
pressed with his musical ability
that they decided to share it with
the whole campus. Thus they had
the posters printed and distrib-
uted. If this story sounds farfetched
dont worry. It is a favorite Beta
Theta Pi gag.
The truth is that Sheets Lind-
say sophomore stole his room-
mate's girlfriend one night at a
party and from that time since
he has been in hot water. This pos-
ter campaign is just one more
move toward retaliation.

Cuts and Excuses Are
Test of Student Ingenuity
Do you suppose the professors
on this campus have a file made
up of the bonafide excuses stu-
dents give for cutting classes? If
so itd probably read like this:
"My room-mate turned off all
six of the alarms.
Honestly I had food poisoning

this file are 186 various excuses
signed by the infirmary.
My car wouldnt start. Stu-
