We the undersigned base our
campaign to the student senate on
several basic needs which we be-
lieve the student body feels acutely
and which the student senate can
deliver in general
Enrolment long a thorn In the
average student's side has reached
the acute stage at which It la Im-
perative that some solution be
found In the Immediate future Of
the many great universities found
In the southwest the University of
Oklahoma alone lacks a comprehen-
sive system by which students can
obtain admittance to class We of
the Decisive Ticket believe the sys-
tem proven through experience and
repeated test at Oklahoma A&M
would be feasible here at the uni-
versity Only pre-enrolment can
end the hours of standing In line
the unnecessary burden now placed
on faculty advisors and the futile
frustration of after standing for
hours in the lines to be told there
is no opening In the section de-
sired Point two on our platform la the
need for more diligent planning of
the student holidaya If elected we
swear never again will there be a
situation which occurred previous
to the Christmas vacation
One point which though Inci-
dental to subjects of greater weight
Is also in need of change That is
the lack of a sufficient number of

Dallas tickets to OU students Many
were turned away last fall and
were faced with either staying at
home or paying outrageous prices
from sraliwrs
Parking meters Is a point which
like the weather seems to have no
solution The Decisive ticket will
search for an answer which will
satisfy both the harrassed student
and the university administration
This is the framework of the
plans we hope to bring forth in
the student senate if elected We
sincerely believe our platform la
not only within reason but will
stand up for the Individual student
We therefore respectfully submit
this outline to you and the members
of the college of Arts and Sciences
