For Showing Extension
Of Gouache Paintings
William Harold Smith director
of tlie school of art received a
request Saturday from the Henry
Art gallery Seattle Wash to ex-
tend the showing of :) of his paint-
ings in gouache for an additional
two weeks
The exhibit in the Seattle gal-
leries was originally sclutlulcd for
January 14 to February 14 hut due
to the interest shown it will con-
tinue until February 2X
Most of tlie paintings were com-
pleted during tlie summer and
wen: exhibited in the art galleries
of Oklahoma A and M college dur-
ing the early part of November and
in the university art galleries in
Dccemlicr However during the
Christmas holitluys Smith complet-
ed six additional iaintingx to aug-
ment the original show
