0 THOSE PANES!
Fourteen hundred and ninety-
two Aside from designating
the date of the discovery of
America this number plays
a very Important part in the
work of the nightwatchman
at ttie university This is the
total number of windows in
the buildings on the campus
and nearly every oiie of them
has to be closed each even-
ing In a week that would be
8852 windows to he closed in
a month 35808 and In a year
322272 One building In park
row has only eleven windows
while the administration hall
heads the list with 351 Since
many of the windows are made
up of small sections of glass
on the whole campus there
are probably more than 100
000 panes!
