that will settle the matter The one
farthest out is on the Ruth Alwell
land northwest forty acres in section
20-27-1G adjoining the Bell Si Jen-
nings tank farm and nearly a mile and
a half northwest of production
GOOD ELL3
The Sill & Sawyer well on the Avis
Vann Antwerp land southeast quarter
of section 21-27-1G as far north as
anything is a better well than the
one on the Devan land to the west
Fifty feet of sand is reported and
tome people rate as a 509 LL1 well
but 230 or 300 bbls would probably
he more like it The sand diJ not
show very heavy in the Devsn well
and Louise Lee Robbins and the Emma
Robbins tracts offsetting on the
south the two wells are like the De-
van well Shuffiin RossA McLane
have No 2 on the Ben Devsn land
finished about like No 1 173 bbls
John M Markham is drilling on the
Maggie Fister 10 acres In the south-
west corner of the northwest quarter
of section 27-27-lG with offsets on
three sides John has some good
production in the extension and sev-
eral good looking leases ahead He
has finished No S on the Maggie Fis
ter 5u acres in the southern part of
section 27 a 123 bbl producer and
No G on the A M Robbins land south-
west quarter of section 2- like the

ports are 50 to 73-bLL The oil Is
quite dark like all the oil on the ex-
treme western edge of the Nowata
pool and is said to test 3G which is
at least six degrees too high if it is like
all other oil of the same color yet
found in the shallow sand districts
and which is a! from edge wells

quality of the oil
