to take core of Father Isidore
Many inquiries come every day re
garding the condition of our dear
Father Isidore We are sorry to in-
form his many friends that at the
present writing the Rev Father’s
oondition is very critical Everything
possible is done for his comfort and
recovery
We wish to thank in the name of
Father Isidore and in our own name
the many kind friends who sent
floral offerings and other signs of
friendship and sympathy to the sick
patient
Several of his clergy conferees vis-
ited Father Isidore during the week
Among them were Fathers Van Gas-
tel of Hobart Lamb of Lawton Van-
deraa of Apache Wilwerding of
Chickasha Steber of Okarche and
Leo Gariador of Sacred Heart
The children returned from their
vacation full of energy Many have
taken some New Year’s resolutions
and if they will only persevere as they
started this last half of the school
term will be the most successful one
A rumor has spread among the In-
dians that Anadarko Boarding school
was about to close owing to the se-
rious illness of Father Isidore We
wish to inform them that this school
will not be closed even should we be
entirely deprived of Father Isidore
The Fathers and Sisters have conse-
srated their lives to the noble work of
educating the Indians They have
gone through many trials and are
ready to face more if necessary
rather than give up Be assured our
Indian friends that our heart is with
you and for you are all our efforts

At last the official an-
nouncement is out 1 Come in

It tells what Edison did
while Chairman of the

how he spent months at
sea experimenting and in-
-venting devices for foiling
the German submarines
The bulletin also tells how
Edison stood the gaff and

and soaring prices TheNew
Edison has increased in price
less than 15 since 1914 —
