7000 lives and $30000000 worth of property No
one expected such an-overwhelming catastrophe
and many were unprepared to meet their severe
losses To put the question point blank are you

President Glover is receiving
large number ot inquiries from stu-
dents who desire to work their way
through school He states there -is
hardly a day passes during which he
does not receive one or more re-
quests from students ' who desire
work here that they might enter
’ school the beginning of the Fall
term Any one who can give stu-
dents work for even an hour or so
each day should report to the Secre-
- tary of this institution

so for the boys’ and girls' clubs
there being a trip to the state fair
as first prize and a trip to Stillwater
as second prize also some nice cash
prizes
If you have a boy or girl that is in
the club I would be glad for you to
help them to prepare their exhibits
as it will be impossible for me to get
to them I am sure it will be well
