No Election Held
In Delaware County
No election supplies were sent to
Delaware County consequently no
election was held in this county
Monday afrernoon the state election
board wired the Grove Sun to print
150 ballots for each of the 18 pre-
cincts in the county but as it was
impossible that afternoon to get in
touch with any member of the coun-
ty election board no tickets were
printed Notwithstanding the short
notice the Sun would have had the
ballots ready for distribution early
Tuesday morning but as the county'
board would be required to turn
them over to the different precincts
and no member of the board being
present to receive them it was
deemed best not to incur the expense
to the state The Sun is here to do
job printing but it does not care to
make a bill against the state when
it is known that the state can not
use or in any way be benefitted
thereby
