MANY ARRESTS MADE
Visitors in our State have remark-
ed that they have seen wholesale ar-
rests being made in many towns
where the guilty ones would be taken
to the jail by the truck load Upon
investigation it was found that these
visitors had witnessed the Hoodlum
Wagon Campaign of the American
Legion where the ex-service men were
being thrown into a truck and taken
to jail Until they paid their dues Do
we need that wagon in Weleetka to
get “YOU” In our ranks?
We enjoyed a fine meeting on the
evening of February 15th and if you
are present you will enjoy a better
one at 7:30 P M Wednesday March
1st The meeting will be held the
same place as Dciore — if you don't
know where that place is ask one of
your buddies
Adjutant Caudle has offered to
place a bulletin board in the barber
shop where he performs his daily dut-
ies where every ex-service man will
be able to get all the late dope
Don’t fail to bring a buddy with
you

IT ISN’T YOUR TOWN— ITS YOU
If you want a town like the kind of a
town f
Like the kind of a town you like
Don’t slip your clothes in a grip
And start on a long-long hike
You’ll only find what you left behind
For there’s nothing that’s really
- new
It’s a knock at yourself to knock your
town
It isn’t your town — it’s you
Real towns are not made by men
afraid
Lest someone blse will get ahead
If everyone works and nobody shirks
You can raise a town from the dead
And while you make your personal
stake '
Your neighbor can make one too
Your Town will be what you want to
see
For it isn’t your town — it’s you
