Ladies
HAVE YOU OPENED AN
ACCOUNT WITH THE
BANii Of
AND RECEIV ED ONE OF
AND PASS ROOKS MADE
Beware of the forked Tongue
Many candidates for the office of
Chfif executive tf Oklahoma are now
buvilv engaged in presenting their p:r-
onal views if tle isfuts which Rre
confronting the people of this great ami
growing state
Of the men who have kept themselves
posted as to athiira political we have no
fear hut to the toilers of the field re-
moved from soure-s of prompt and ac-
curate information and who have liecn
hard pressed in their attempts to pro-
vide sustenance for self and farrilf
thereby having little tim to devote to
posting themselves as to the facts up to
the present time we would sav “Be-
ware of the lure of the forked tongue
possessed by the adherents to the Okla-
homa republican faith"
You will find the republicans iu th-ir
frenzy berating and accusing the demo
cratlc party of man)’ nefarious acts In
connection with the running of the state
government however having utterly
failed to substantiate any of their in-
sinuations of graft bcfjre an investiga-
tion committee composed of both demo-
crat and republican members of the
legislature au investigation demanded
by th: officials wh r were so grossly
slandered and winch Investigation
according to the legislative record of
January 2-ith was voted against by
every republican present
The guns of the republican candidates
are loaded with slander and are primed
by the corporate interests of the north
and east Acting as the tods of these
moneyed powers they are shooting the
poison into the ears of the unsusjiect-
ing and honest farmer as well as Into
the ears of the busy merchant

ESPECIALLY FOR YOU
Ye would I ke to call attention to the
pledges ma le bv the leaders of the ra-
ti inal republican party a few months
buck while i haling for the support of
the commonwealth pledges which were
made by tbe same forked tongues and
so brazenly broken In our faces as soon
as the bull ts were counted
AYefind tbe leaders of Oklahoma re-
publicanism are the appointees of this
discredited set ami that through them
are handed down the dictates of the
tnen in Washington who are holding
their positions as the gracious gift of
some giutted corn ration or trust
Whom ti e corporate interests would
distroy they first seek to discredit iu
the min Is of the people That the cor-
porations have not been fr’endly to the
democratic party in this state is readily j
seen upon tak’ng c-ga'zvnce of their
action in appealing to the federal courts
tor the purpose of escaping the laws
made since statchool for their control
and to force theu t pay their just p r-
tion of taxation
We find the republican party in Okla-
homa aiding these corporate interests
in every conceivable w ay and in return
are being supplied with the necessary
funds for carrying on a campaign of
viihtication and slander lu the hoes of
discrediting the party who has been the
regulator of the interests and the friend
to the man of small means
The republican candidates will tell
you that hi will reduce your taxes but
he does not tell you that if lie dots re-
duce them you will cease to build the
school houses and to provide other no
ess iry public improvements lie docs
not tell you how you may have tluse
things without paying for them nud lie
