cers Sunday evening as follows:

President, Clyde Reynolds; sec-

Barron. Mr. J. C. McCune will
lead the meeting Sunday evening.
Our young friend Homer F.
Henly of Muskogee, Okla. was
elected treasurer of the Interstate
Christian Endeavor convention,
which was held at Tulsa, Okla.
last week. Mr. Henley is one of
the finest young men in the coun-
try and is in every way worthy
of the honor conferred upon him.
One of our exchanges says it
is so dry here in Oklahoma that
the wagons are going around

lemonade, and the cat fish kick
up such a dust in the South Ca-
nadian river that the river has to
besprinkled before you can go
fishing.

• A Jolly crowd of young pc< pie
came out from El Reno Saturday
evening to enjoy a moonlight fish-
ing party with Calumet friends.
However they just enjoyed the
drive to the river and back as the
approaching storm ] romised to
constitute a picnic in itself. They
returned to Calumet to the hon e
of Mr. an'd Mrs. I). \V. Lowd. r
where the young people furnish-
ed delightful piano, violin, man-
dolin and vocal solos, piano du-
etts, etc. After a rnost'enjoyu-
ble musical program was render
ed, they repaired to the dinir.g
