An unusually large number of Ard-
more people visited Sulphur yester-
day. The trips were made by auto
and the roads are said to be delight-
ful. The spring has been ideal for
growing crops and flowers and the

toms that bore heavy cotton crops
last season are almost entirely de-
voted to corn kaflr and cane this year.
Some of the finest corn ever reported
for this season is now being worked
for the second time In some sections
of the Caddo bottoms.
The E. U. Reed Carnival company
which will exhibit here the remainder
of the week under the auspices of
tho Carter County Fair association
arrived today. L. D. Rickey of this
city who for a number of years was
associated with Mr. Reed in the show
business is authority for the state-
ment that this is one of the cleanest
carnival show s on the road.
