Most roofings look alike and even trained chemists can judge roofing quality only by
the raw materials that are put into the roofing and not from the finished product.

Suoh Proof as This Should Convince
Any Ardmore Citizen.
The public endorsement of a lo-
cal citizen is the best proof that
can be produced. None better none
stronger can be had. When a man
comes forward and testifies to his
fellow citizens addressing his friends

is thoroughly convinced or he would
not do so. Telling one's experience
when it is for the public good is
an act of kindness that should be
appreciated. . The following state-

government.
"We don't know what they show as

TURN. Bridgeport Conn. July IS. Simon
Lake unentor and builder of sub-
marines was gratified Saturday by the
success of exiK'iitneiits testing the
new submarine G-:' which demon-
strated that the new boat can cross
the Atlantic ocean and return with-
out stopping having a cruising radius
of (l.'MH) miles.
"It is practicable- for the (!-: with
her engines to cross the Atlantic
ocean do her work there and come
back without dependence on b.ise of
supplies" said Mr. Lake. "It is
merely a ipiestion of the economy of
fuel."
The ('-.'! was built by the Lake
TorK'iio Moat company of this city.
Her extensive cruising radius is due
to the el'liciency of a new Swiss en-
gine which drives the boat on the
surface and under water replacing
both the gasoline engines heretofore
used to drive submarines on the sur-
face and the electric motor used for
undersea travel.
In a series of tests consisting of
trips up and down the length of Long
Island Sound the new boat showed a
speed of II." knots on the surface
and 10.7 knots submerged. She cost
