EDITORIAL
It has always been a custom of ours to have two
sales a year—January and July. These were our Semi-
Annual Clearance Sales.
We have remodeled and enlarged our shop every
season during our 12 years of business in Oklahoma
City—but we have never used this much-abused pre-
text for ad vertising a sale.
In the present instance we are reluctantly forced,
as is explained in our advertisement, to deviate from
our established customs.
You will find no flaming' signs or banners on our
Windows or Store Front.
You will find no fictitious promises in our ads
You will find no bombastic offerings as "baits" to ob
tain your patronage.
You will find our sales are like our merchandise.
"Different, but dignified."
You will find positive reductions in price on every
article in our shop except on contract goods, such as
Manhattan Shirts, E. & W Collars, etc., etc.
You will find "High Grade" apparel for Men and
Boys at a lower price than ever before.
Thanking' you for past favors and hoping to merit
a continuance of your good will and patronage, we are,
Youis truly, HEYMAN & GOLDSTANDT,

Our 24th Semi-Annual Clearance Sale
The Cause
DTTR LANDLORD bus given us notice that immediately after the holidays he
ivill tear down to rebuild a more "up-to-Oklahoma City" progressive home
for "THE HUB."
This means "The Hub" will practically be without a home fi-oin four to six
weeks. We expected this, but not until February.
The Effect
That just when our stock is at its best just when all clothiers expect to <lo
their largest volume of most profitable business we are reluctantly compelled
lo commence these sales in order that the carpenters, bricklayers, stonemasons
md other artisans may take possession of our present home.
The Result
That the citizens of Oklahoma will have an opportunity to buy iu the midst
jf the season just when they need them.
