Bonnie Mae (Harwood)
Asher passed away on Sunday.
November 17. 2013 ai the age
of 72.
Born June 24. 1911 in
Stillwater, to David Wilson
and Chloetilda Ruth (Mellordi
Harwood. Bonnie was reared
and educated in Kellyville.
On July 21, 1958 Bonnie
married serviceman Walter
Eldon Asher, in a Kellyville
ceremony. They made their
home in San Francisco until
his discharge when they
moved to Tulsa where they
raised their children They
made their home in Claremore
for many years before moving
to Chelsea. Bonnie was a
member of Bethel Chapel and
enjoyed singing in church.
She also traveled with het Inis
band doing evangelistic work.
Her family and Iriends
were her first priority and
Bonnie dedicated her life to

the nurturing and caring lor
them. W hen lime allowed, she
enjoyed crafts, working in her
I lower beds, and going to
garage ales.
She was preceded in death
by her lather David, and
brother. Tommy Harwood.
A wonderful wife, mother
and grandmother. Bonnie will
be missed by all who knew
Those family members that
survive include her husband
Walter of their home in
Chelsea: her children. Denton
Asher of Chelsea. Timothy
Asher and wife Trixi of
Claremore. and Re heck a
Asher of Broken Arrow: her
mother Chloetilda Mefford of
Chelsea: grandchildren. Caleb
and Katherine Mason, and her
brother Donald Harwood of
Chelsea.
