Making ball plans
Judy Doyle, who is chairman of the
1989 Charity Ball, recently met with
her committee chairmen and two of
the ball's three founders to finalize
plans for this year's event The 1989
ball will celebrate the centennial of the
Oklahoma Land Run of 1889, as well
as give local residents and opportunity
to participate in an event that benefits
the Sapulpa Handicapped Opportunity
Workshop (SHOW.) Seated, from left,

Ann Jackson. Naifeh and Jackson
along with Joy Naifeh founded the ball
more than two decades ago. Standing,
from left, are Julia Evans, band
committee chairman; Pam Beny,

tions committee chairman; Dianne
Berry, telephone committee chairman;
Susie Henderson, door prize commit-
tee chairman; Dorcas Johnson, corres-

In a large bowl, combine salad in-
gredients, topping with Jarlsberg
cheese.
In a measuring cup, combine salad-
dressing ingredients. Blend well. Poor
over salad, toning to blend. Cover
and chill well for at lent one hour be-
fore serving. If desired, serve over
lettuce leaves. This kitchen-tested
recipe makes 8 servings.
