of ever having filed or given any one

The Mott statement says that James
King Duffey of New York city makes
a statement in writing over his own
signature that he was associated in
I business in Muskogee in 1901 with ('.
| N. Haskell and that he took title with
j Haskell as trustee to a number of
town lots and that he supplied the
1 names W persons to whom these lots
; could be scheduled and patents is-
! sued and that said persons were resi-
dents of New York and New Jersey.
He states that none of these persons
hdd any financial interest in the lots
and that he elid not consult them and
that they had no knowledge of the
transaction until quitclaim deeds were
procured for them to such lots.
According to the official deed record

those mentioned, were transferred by
| quitclaim deed to ('. N. Haskt 11, or ('.
N. Haskell trustee, and James King
: Duffey, the patents to them having
been issued to persons scattered over
six different states.
