1 would like to conclude this week
with a wonderful remedy for sin. We
have discussed in the past several
weeks what sin is and how it affects
us. Let me share with you the only
remedy for sin - Jesus Christ.
Jesus paid the penalty for all sin 1
John 2:2, "He is the stoning sacrifice
for our sins and not only ours, but
also for the sins of the whole world.”
The Holy Spirit makes it so clear that
Christ alone is able to counter act the
evil of the old nature by the implanta-
tion of a new nature.
Redemption is a work of undoing
and in nothing does the glory of our
Saviour appear more manifest than in
the way He deals with the havoc
wrought by fin. Where sin abounds -
grace much more abounds. By
finished work Christ overcame all the
effects of sin. God the Son alone can
deal with the sin of man, Chriat came
into the world to save sinners.
No matter how big, small, tall,
secret, open, ignorant, etc - Jems is
there! Is It not bleated to know that
the blood of Jesus Christ it able to
cleanse us from all am?
We as a group of people are so
lucky, that we are free indeed. We are
hopeful of the glorious redemption
from fin Chriat made possible when
He died and rote again. In Adam we
die, but in Christ we became alive
and live.
