A caterpillar crawls along a branch So unsightly and useless is he that at best he is
scorned, at worst, exterminated
A gram of sand one ot an infinite number lodges within an oyster’s shell It is coarse
and hard, worthless and unwanted
And then, there are people They are restless, a bit lonely sometimes, and apprehen
sive about the future They enter churches and speak to God
From the cocoon, a gaily-colored butterfly emerges People paint pictures of it: chtl
dren try to claim it as their own.
From the oyster, a pale, creamy pearl is taken It is admired, sold for a small fortune
prized.
So God changes the lowly caterpillar and richly clothes the grain of sand. How much
more can He change the lives ot those who ask it of Him'

BUSY! BUSY! BUSY!
Already this year, the
activities of the Sapulpa
Salvation Army is averaging
over 2200 people in at-
tendance each month, and
our summer activities are
yet to come This summer
we will once again have
students to help us in our
playground and youth club
activities. We encourage
your bringing your children
to the Salvation Army
playground while you are
doing your shopping
downtown.
This weekend, our young
people will be attending our
youth conference that is held
each year at the Western
Hills I,odge, and next
Tuesday, the Indies Home
league and The Salvation
Army Senior Citizen Club
will be making a trip to
Muskogee to see the Azalias
and to have a picnic lunch.
There are other activities
that one may join or be a
part of. We do indeed invite
you to do so, for the hand of
friendship is always there
and the coffee pot is always
on. REMEMBER, it is only
as you give of yourself in
participation that you will
get anything in return.
