Dr. and Mrs. O. H. Patterson
have returned from a three day
stay in Oklahoma City.
Dr. Patterson was a delegate
to the Oklahoma State Medical
Association convention there. He
attended three days of scientific
assemblies designed to keep
today’s physician abreast of the
advances and trends in modern
science.
Efforts were discussed by a
number of authorities on ways
and means of bringing better
medical services to more people.
The delegates were addressed
by former Gov. Bartlett and Ed
Edmondson.
Frozen foods should be cooked

Sew It With Synthetic
NEW YORK (UPI)—All the
new synthetics in the piece goods
departments mean a new look at
sewing techniques. Onehundred
per cent polyester thread or
cotton-covered polyester, good
for all fabrics, are especially
helpful in sewing materials
containing synthetics. The
cotton-covered polyester is
available in a wide range of
colors and has the strength,
stretch recovery and low
shrinkage needed for sewing
permament press, knits and
textured wovens. In addition, the
all-polyester is highly durable
through repeated washings.

anything from heirloom pictures
to the children's graduation
portraits on melamine dinner-
size plates. The Picture Plate is
created from the owner’s
original four by five inch photo,
enlarged to fit a ID-inch circle.
The resulting duplicate then is
actually molded under layers of
clear melamine resin for a plate
to be used as wall hanging,
display on a table easel, or for
food service if you want a con-
versation piece. The plates are
called shatter-proof and dish-

A do-it-yourself water-proof-
ing epoxy sealer is now available
for sealing cracks in basement
walls and floors, swimming

surface. The maker says the
sealant, called Zap, is the same
formula used successfully by
professional waterproofers in
homes. The material brushes on
like paint, even on damp sur-
faces.
