4 o'clock a very exciring run-
away took place on Robinson
street, the horse starting at
California street and running
at a break-neck speed north
almost to Third street before
being stopped.
The horse was pulling a
buggy and as it ran through
and across the crowded
streets, several persons had
narrow escapes from being
run over.
The name of the party own-
ins the horse is not known.
