An Ordinance Regulating the Speed
and the Driving of Automobiles in the
City of Edmond, and Providing a Pen-
alty for Violation Thereof:
Be it Ordained bj the Mayor ana City
Co"nCil of the City of Edmond. Oklaho-
ma.
Section I. It shall be unlawful for any
pei son to drive an Automobile at a great-
er rate of speed than eight miles per
hour in the business district and fifteen
miles per hour in the residence district of
s*id City of Edmond.
Section 2. Drivers of Automobiles
shall keep to the right on meeting anoth-
er car, or anyone riding or driving a horse.
Section 3. -All drivers of Automobiles
shall keep to the right side of the street
when driving unless prevented by some
obstruction therein, or when in the act of
crossing the street.
Section 4. All cars or Automobiles
driven or used on tha streets at night,
must be provided with the following lights:

one red light at the rear, such lights to
oe lighted and burning when used on said
streets
Section 5. It is hereby declared un-
lawful icr anyone to drive an Automo-
bile it, a reckless manner and without
due regard for the safety of psrsone and

Section 6. That the owner, lessee or
operator of any Automobile within the
