liIANY public questions re-
' L icri ed to the Public Service
Commissions and the Courts
in other states are left to the
citizens themselves to decide in
Oklahoma.
However it is not to be consid-
ered for one moment that the
citizens of Tulsa will deal with
the matter of an additional electric
franchise with one whit less in-
telligence than the commissions.
Nor will the sorry and costly experiences of
the other states with competitive franchises be
lost in the study that each citizen is now mak-
ing so that he can intelligently inform himself
as to how his vote should be cast.
A Vote Against
Any Additional Franchise
is a vote for Tulsa's future prosperity.
It is a vote to encourage its present industries
and an open invitation to outside industries to
come to Tulsa and invest their capital freely with
the surety that they will not be unfairly disturbed.
The Corporation Commission of Oklahoma in
its recent report endorses this position.
