OKLAHOMA CITY JOBBING
HOUSES
Many who visited this market for
the first time in connection with the
Retail Hardware, Implement & Ve-
hicle Dealers convention expressed
surprise at the immense stocks car-
ried by the jobbing houses in this
city. The Impression having prevail-
ed with them that mo«t of the3.; hous-
es were merely diit tbutii-z branches.
Such is not the case. The stocl<3 car-
ried by the Oklahoma City Wholesal-
ers are complete and enormous, and
when visiting this market, you can
make your own se'eciions and have
them shipped immediately.
LET THERE BE LIGHT.
In making your plans for the fait
and winter, don't overlook the lignt
question. The rtavs a™ <■>**« « now get-
ting shorter, and another GO days and
you will begin to need artificial light.
Now while you have time make plans
for an effective lighting arrangement.
Nothing does more to attract and hold
trade than a well lighted store. The
kerosene lamp is out of date and in-
adequate for mercantile purposes, we
have instead electric lights, and for
those who cannot get electric current
there are gasoline lgihting systems
which have been so improved as to
furnish a maximum light for a min-
imum cost and are absolutely safe,
being accepted by the insurance com-
panies without increasing your insur-
ance rates.
