Nebraska State Convention Wil
go Solid for War Secretary
tAssociated Press.)
Omaha, March Hi.—Several hundred
delegates to tomorrow's state republic-
an convention gathered during the day
and tonight fill the hotel lobbies. A fea-
ture of the day's developments was the
decision of tile Lancaster (Lincoln) dele-
gation to support a Taft ticket. Lan-
caster county was the only large county
t<> send a delegation Instructed for any
other candidate than Taft. The county
held it.s convention before President
Roosevelt made his final declaration that
I he would not be a candidate and In-
structed the delegation of 14 members
for the president. Several counties sent
delegates without instructions. leaving
about 750 of the 950 delegates instructed
for Taft.
Today a Lancaster party leader stat-
ed that his delegation would vote solidly
for the Taft delegates and this leaves
the opposition in such a position that it
will hardly ateropt to cause a division.
A feature of the convention sentiment
Is an almost unanimous acceptance of
Secretary Taft and all agree that the
war secretary will have a solid delegation
from Nebraska.

Raise Your Own Feed
Most Stock Foods did not bear the revenue stamp dur-
, in? the Spanish American war. This is true of the kinds
that are peddled. The government found that they con
tamed no medicinal tonics, -vere simply a food ration such
as oil meal, cotton seed meal and the like, worth in the
market $1.2o per hundred. The government found in

tonics to improve digestion, laxatives to regulate the
bowleg and iron to enrich tho blood. They stamped it
which is uncontrovertible evidence that it is a medioinal
stoek tonic and laxitive that will enchanee the feeder's
profits, besides relieveing the the minor stock ailments. Do
■ you know that the average animal does not digest over
one-half of its food? Dr. Hess originated the idea 0f
strengthening digestion, thereby enabling each animal to
appropriate the maximum amount of food taken into the
system. Remember we sell Dr. Hess Stock Food on a nosi
