The comic song by Missis u.

Indeed the musical part of the pro-

parents felt proud of tiie ability of
their children as each selection was
rendered with a grace and rythm
which amply repaid the instructor
for her painstaking work, for which
she has the warm appreciation ana

patrons. The performers could not
have done better. The piano solo by
Master W. McCormick thoroughly

Tecumseh, Okla., May 28.—Dis-
trict Judge \V. N. Maben of Shawnee
was acquitted at Tecumseh tonight
of the charge of accepting bribes
from gamblers land bootleggers.
The jury reported at 10:30 after be-
ing out for thirty hours. Judge
Maben, County Attorney Virgil
Diggers and William Sims, chief
of police at Shawnee, were recently
indicted at the instance of Attorney
General Charles West, who conduct-
ed the prosecution. Biggers testified
for the State In the Maben trial and
receives immunity. Only Sims re-
mains to be tried.
Aside from the action of the jury
the argument of Norman Pruett,
who so severely arraigned Attorney
General West, has proven the real
sensation of the trial and above all
that was heard around the court
discussion as to its effect on the jury
and what action M r. West would
take in the way of resentment.
