Our Misfortune is
Your Fortune
ON the night of the 27 of March during the heavy rain-storm, a portion of the roof of our store was blown
off and quite a lot of our merchandise got wet.
Beginning Monday morning April 17th 1905, and to continue ten days, we have decided in order to move this
stock quick, to cut the price.
In many instances we will cut the price 50%. This will bs the greatest opportunity ever offered the people of
Pauls Valley and vicinity to buy goods at less.than they cos. to manufacture. This is an instance where our loss will
be your gain. The stock damaged by water includes ginghams, percales, ladies and children's hose, lawns amities,
ladies' and children's underwear, men's shirts and underwear, men's and ladies' shoes, slippers, hats, men's and
boys clothing and pants. The biggest dam tga done by water was done to boxes and cartoons, but we cannot afford to
carry this stock piled up in the store.
1000 yards calico, ird go and light blues, .eds atd silver grays fancy dress stjle;, black and white and shirting
styfes. None of our calicos are damaged, in fact this calico is brand new. But we have decided to put all we have into
this sale.

bought the entire sample line of one of the largest manu-
facturers in the country. We put the whole line in this

About 150 shirts go in this sale at a saving to you of
from 25 to 50 per cent
Remember these prices ortly apply to present stock. If
you fail to take advantages of these prices or do not come
early, it will be your fault. When the present stock is ex-
hausted there will absolutely be no duplicates. This will
be the greatest sale ever recorded in Pauls Valley. Come
expecting to take your time to look for what you want.
We have been unable in this space to tell you about
half that will be on sale.

bought from us for cash we give a ticket which entitles the
holder to participate in the drawing which takes place
