Special Notice to Telephone Subscribers
If you desire more sr.d better service for your
money please observe the following:
We Have ni^ht service now from 9: j9 p. is.
to 5:30 a.m. If you wish to be benefited by it
do not ring on line during closing uours. only when
you want doctor or have other emergency calls,
then you can get through. Non-subscribers call-
ing during night service will be charged 10
cents for each call. .
Do not make a regular business of loaning
vour phone to non-subscribeis. Let them get a
phone and pay for it just as you do for yours. % o
per cent of our calls are by people who have no
phone, and some of them are more abie to pay for
a phone than the subscriber. .
Th?s keeps the subscriber away from the line
he is caving for and makes extra work for the op-
erator. We are using every effort to give yon
more and better service. Let the non-subscriber
d-l a phone and pay for it, then we cau add more
operators as is necessary, and not have to ra.se
,he price on you. Stillwater cut out our rural
line because we allowed so many people to use it
who had i-' phoac.
We will lose all our .other looal connecting
lines If we p^rm t this free business to go on. So
we earnest]* ask that onr subscriber® to help us in
lie above re quest, if you desire more and better
service for the same money you are now paying.
