Red Cross Meeting Held Friday Night
There was a small attendance at the
Red Cross meeting, held at the court
room in the city hall, last Friday night.
In the absence of President (', K. Wag-
ner, and Vice President A. Black,
Treasurer L. A. I'Yrrell, occupied the
chair. After approval of minutes of
prev ious meet in;.', read by Secretary
Tiernay the liuaucial report was read
by Treasurer Ferrel and duly accepted,
after which the chair suggested that
inasmuch as the president, Dr. <E.
Wagner had requested that he be re-
lieved of the duties of his office,
he believed that nominations for that
office would be in order. On motion,
nominations were (dosed after Mr.
L. A. Ferrel had been placed in nom
inatiou, and his election was unani-
mous.

Order for Hearing Petition to Sell
Real Estate
State of Oklahoma, Kingfisher County,
ss.—In the County Court.
Estate of A. Hollenbeek, Deceased.
The petition of Granville Hollen-
beek, as the executor of the last will
ami testament of A. Hollenbeek, de-
ceased, having been presented to this
Court, praying that an order be made
authorizing said petitioner to sell the
whole, or so much, and such parts of
the real estate described in said peti-
tion as tlie Court shall judge necessary
and beneficial, at private sale; and it
appearing to the Court, from such pe-
tition, that it is necessary to sell the
whole or some portion of such real es-
tate for the purpose and reasons men-
tioned in said petition; therefore, said
p tit ion will be filed herein and a
time appointed for hearing the same.
AND IT is HEREBY ORDERED,
By the Court, that Wednesday, the 8th
day of May, A. l>. 1918, at the hour
of two o'clock p. m., of said day, that
being a day of the regular April term,
11M-S, of this Court, be and the same
is appointed as the time when all per-
sons interested in said estate are di-
rected and required to appear before
this Court to show cause why an or-
der should not be granted to said pe-
titioner to sell so much of the real
estate of said decedent as is necessary.
A copy of this order shall be posted
in three public, places in the County
of Kingfisher, one of which shall be
at the Court House where the hearing
is to be held, and a copy personally
served on or mailed to all persons in-
terested in the estate, any general
guardian of a minor so interested, and
any legatee or devisee or heir of the
deceased; provided they are residents
of the county, at least ten days before
the time set for the hearing. Copies
of this order shall be mailed to all
persons who are not residents of the
county with postage thereon prepaid.
If the postoftice address of any such
person is unknown, a copy of this or-
der to show cause shall be published
two successive weeks in some news-
paper published in said County, and
the firs*" publication shall be not loss
than fifteen days prior to the date of
hearing.

Hoard of Trustees of the Town of
Hennessey, that Sections six (fi),
seven (7), eight (*), twelve (12)

amended to read as follows, to wit:

summon all male persons over the age

two days labor or service required
herein, and for the use of any team,
and for all money received from any
persons who may pay the sum of 00
in lieu of the performance of the s r-

all substitutes he shall give receipts
when the two days services are pi in-

that said services have been pi rform-
ed; and lie shall make proper, recount-
ing to the Town Board of all such
money, and how and for what purpose
expended by him.
Section n, Any person who is liable
to street or road tax under this Ordi-
nance, who, after being served with
summons as provided in Section i>, of
this Ordinance, who fails to appear

nor more than $10.00, and may be

or may be punished by infliction of
both such tiue and imprisonment, in
the discretion of the court.
Section 12. All Ordinances or parts
or ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
