The Women’s Christian Temperance union met this
week at the home of Mrs. Hugh Seivers with Mrs. John
Mocuskey as assisting hostess.
A very successful pie supper and entertainment was
held Friday nitrht at the Banner school. The evening was
spent in contests and music. Miss Marie Shacklett, one 01'
the Banner teacher-, won the popularity contest. The pies
met with a ready ale and some told for $3.50 each. The
proceed of the entertainment amounted to $81.75 whic‘
