Announcement has been made
of the engagement of Miss Mary
Marie Hauser to LeRoy Bacher.
seaman apprentice, U8N, by the
bride-elect’s parents, Mr. and
Mrs. A. W. Hauser, 717 South
Roberts. Parents of the prospec-
tive bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs.
Orant Bacher, 810 South Bick-
ford.
The wedding will be an event
of late April.
Mies Hauser was graduated from
the El Reno hlghschool with the
class of 1060. She was a member
of the Pepett Pep club and the
PhUalathean Literary society. She
was on the Boomer staff and was
a member of the El Reno hlgh-
school band where she served In
the capacity of secretary during
the school year of 1849-50. Miss
Hauser Is In nurses training at
the Mercy School of Nurses In
Oklahoma City.
Seaman Bacher was graduated
from the El Reno hlghschool In
1949 and was a member of the
band. He attended the Univer-
sity of Oklahoma, Norman, before
entering the navy In July, I960.
He is stationed at San Diego.
