night. Crowds of sight seers moved
from street to street to visit the open
ing display of line millinery at the
emp-riums of (lundry St Co.. Mrs
Huber, Mrs. Wattson and LMts &

At Pitts & Heed’s the visitors were
regaled with Instru mental music, and
the establishment was crowded all the
evening.
At Mrs. Wattsou’s elaborately decor-
ated store the throng was immense,
and the corps of attentive and ac
ctnmudating assistants were kept
busy aiding Mrs. Wattson In welcom-
ing the guests. Miss Edith Patterson
presided at the piano and received
many compliments on her excellent
playing.
At Mrs. R so Huber’s, Miss (Jiieenie
Huber charmed everyone with her
classical piano perform ince. The dis-
p.av of hate and decorations was very
fine and the crowd immense.
M ss MiLor, at the Harry S Gundry
& Co. establishment, displayed a
splendid array of pattern hats, which
were greatly admired. The decora

in lace, palms and roses.
