of the city of Cti'ckasha Oklahoma
hereby give notice that on the 3rd day
Of March 1308. there will be held in
the Etho-ol district of the city of Chick-a-.ta
Oklahoma an election to de'er-
rr.ice whether or not the board of edu-
ca.ion of the city of Chickasha Okla-
homa a hall issue school district bonds
ia the sura of Ii5.000.00 bearing inter
est at the rate of 5 per cent per an
num for the purposes of repairing the
present school buildings of such dis
trict ad purchasing a site and erect
ing a suitable building thereon for the
accommodation of the pupils attend-
ing the public schools of said district
at which election the qualified electors
of said school diBtrict shall determine
whether or not the board of education
of such district shall issue bonds ac
cordingly.
The places of holding such election
ith!n such school district bball be as
follows:
Ia ward No. 1 ia the city of Chick-
afiha at Thomas' store corner Sixth
street and Texas avenue.
In ward No. 2 ia the city of Chick
asha at The Yellow barn.
Ia ward No. 3 in the city of Chick-
aha at Police Station.
Ia ward No. 4 in the city 01 Ctnck-
aKha at Carnegie library.
In the territory within said school
district and outside of the corporate
limits of the city of Chickasha Okla
homa at the Fair Grounds.
The officers for holding such election
are hereby appointed as follows
Ia the Erst ward: Judges A. E. Mc
Kenzle and J. F. Bishop and A. H.
Gray; clerks ov. R. C. Haecker and
R. M. Cavett
la the second ward: Judges L. M.
Chase and Wm. A. Proctor and J. A.
Pateman; clerks Ben Hampton aad
George A. McGehee.
Ia the third ward: Judges B. F
Kendlg and A. Johnstoa and Geo. G.
Calvert; clerks H. E. Eurt aad II. R.

bonds shall stamp with a cross mary
ia the square opposite the word Tea;"
these voting against the issuance of
such bonds shail stamp with a cross
mark in the square opposite the word
"No."
Euch election shall be held and con
ducted and the returns thereof made
in the time and manner aa provided
by law.
