If our competitors think we have lost our reason we will say to them Comk and we will show you the way out. We prefer to make
our money in the BUYING and NOT in the SELLING while others are educated to count profit when the sale is being effected.

Has swept the country; yes almost the world and the splinters that fell from the storm's rage has been collected by our Eastern buy-
ers and with that we appear before an intelligent public to present our claims for your support. We sell no cabbage no potatoes no
turnips no peanuts and no chinawarc but we do sell dry goods in all its branches such as can be found in any first-class city store;
clothing as fine as the looms produce; fine shoes such as the artists of the trade can master out. Without fear of contradiction we say

who have reduced the fat ol the giants who claimed to own your trade without regard as to exorbitant charges imposed upon you until
the soup boiling shows the marks only from old times and the owners of same are almost in it themselves. As usual wc are ahead of
competition. When we sec one looking for bargains in St. Louis we will go a litde further. This time New York is good enough for
US and when we found our competitors undertook to seek Eastern markets to catch up with us we concluded to manufacture merchan-
dise ourselves so as to have it from first hands. But we allow them the privilege to secure goods from first hands by offering to sell our
own manufactured goods 20 per cent cheaper than St. Louis manufacturers if ihcy will only avail themselves of the opportunity but
they have been educated differently to charge more when they pay more and take very little pains to seek good investments.
St. Joe Kansas City or Wichita seems to receive the preference of some merchants rather than to leave the money at Guthrie and
and build up our own town.
