$SAVING BARGA1NSALE!
Special Sale of Fall Goods
The greater portion of my fall and winter goods were bought months ago while lower prices
prevailed. For instance my fall and winter shoes were bought last April; bought at an average of ten cents per pair
LESS MONEY than they are worth today; and bought in quantities that my constantly increasing shoe trade would have
demanded with good crops this fall consequently I know now that I have more Fall and Winter Shoes and Dry Goods
in stock than is justified by our short crops and that unless I offer extraordinary inducements for trade and secure trade
from greater distances from Beaver I will have a surplus stock left over next spring to be sacrificed at clearance sale.
I am therefore going to sacrifice my surplus stock right now at the beginning of fall instead of waiting until spring.
I am going to give the people of Beaver County an opportnity of buying new Fall and Winter Goods at the approach of
fall for less money than they ever bought them at this season of the year before.
