A great amount of interest is being
taken in lawn tennis. A new court
i ill hi prepared in order that more
can play at one time.
Twenty Beaver pupils will exhibit nt
the A V M. college club contest next
Ssturday. Pre. Black of Good well
will be present at that time to award
the premiums.
New sasli curtains have been put to
the windows of the recitation rooms
in the high school.
Tue drinking fountain for the high
school was received lint week and In-
stalled in the lower hall. The foun
tain fur the graded school has not ar-
rived as yet. The fountain for the
graded school will be some larger than
the one installed in the high t-ehocil
and will be tiitilpped witli two bub
blers.
We. aro planning on tiilslng about
sixty dollars lor the purpose of provid
ing sunie piny ground apparatus fur
the graded school. The flame that we
have planned it. to be made from two
inch galvanized pipe mid will be
equipped with two horrizontal bars
10 feet long. 2 perpendicular bars 10
feet high H swings 0 suspended rings
and three teeter boards. The pupil of
the graded fcliool hid very enthusiastic
over tho proposition and have raised
fill 00 in cash. In all about Ktf.UO has
been arranged fur by pupils and teach-
ers. We desire to call attention to tho
fact that for tho week just closed there
was not a case of tardiness in either
-ehool. Tills is an excellent record
