Attorney General .1. C. Strang has
optned up correspondence with the

connection with the lyncblug of the
negro Hill Campbell. This was til the
suggestion of (Jo v. William .lenhin
and Judge Strang readily took the

county attorney is not satisfactory to
Judge Strang he will leave for I'ond

under the homicide law and by the
provisions of tills law are liable to the
most complete prosecution of any case
In the territory. (lor Jenkins will
not act further In the matter until
Judge Strang reports and when this
report Is made the plans for the pros-
ecution of the lynchers will be made.
It la piobabU thtt some lounger near

Already people In Oklahoma ara fig-
uring on contracting with the Creek
Indian for portions of their land.
According to the provisions of thn
treaty recently ratified the Creeks will
gel 100 acres of land each and will be
permitted lo sell 130 acres of tho 100
acres and then lease the remaining 40
acre If they so desire. The land sold
will bring the appraised price and this
means that laud can be secured at a
reaconablu price by the white settler.
There are about -:i.i.looo acres that can
be bought at a reasonable price. .Many
persons who have been waiting for the
opening of the Klowa-Comanchu lands
will take advantage of the Creuk
treaty and contract for lands with tho
Indians. The lands are the best In
the territory and sro well watered.

There aie about I l.'i.OOO chlldion In

to the rapid gtowth of population of
the territory.
In t lie Klowa-Comanchr country

the school fund. .Insl how this annual
Income will be divided wilt not be
determined until the new country
comes In and Is ofllcnlly organized.
There will be a question perhaps
when the country I opened up foi set-
tlement what to do t lth the school
lauds to sell them or retain them.
The experience of Knusas in this ies-
pect should bo a warning to the Okla-
homa people und as a matter of fact at
the prcicnt time there is a detei mined
opinion among the ofllclals that the
sclicol lands should be retained for a
number of years at least and at that
time the land will have Increased In

Goodland Kan. June 3. N E. Al-
bcrtaon our leading blacksmith bun
been a great sufferer from Hhctimu-
tlsra. lie was so bad that lie could not
sleep for the great pain in his arms
and shoulders. He had been afflicted
for years but lately he was so much
worse that be thought he would hat
to give up his shop altogether.
Then a strange thing happened. A
friend of his recommended a new med-
icine called Dodd's Kidney Fills said
to be a cure for ltheuraatisra. He
commenced to use them and at once
began to recover. Ills pain bus all left
him and lie is a well man to-day and
entirely free from any symptom of
Ilheumatlsm.
To say he Is thankful is putting it
very mildly. He is delighted.
Dodd's Kidney Tills deserve great
credit for having cured this very se-
vere nnd almost hopeless case.
From recent reports there does not
seem to be anything that they will not
cure ns very bad coses of Hrlght's Dis-
ease Diabetes Dropsy lthcumatlsnu
and Heart Trouble have been cured by
Dodd's Kidney 1'llls even after hav
ing been given up by the best doctors.
