The Bride Mane a Bad Mistake
But Sbe Needn't Have
Apologized.
The other day two well dressed
ardent lovers evidently newly
wedded boarded a Mineral Wells
train at Weatherford and amused
(ha other passengers with their
oooing. After awhile tba fair
young bride leaned b tck in her
chair and fell asleep. Her com-
panion took advantage "u the lull
of affectionate demonstrations and
went into Hie smoker to enjoy a
cigar. While be was gone a long
lean lank grizzly specimen of
humanity came ia and sat down in
the vacant chair beside the sleep-
ing beauty. Presently the young
woman half asleep turned andlaid
her bead lovingly on the shoulder
of the stranger and put her plump
arm arouud bis neck. The green
gawky stranger was surprised at
his unexpected familiarity but
made no desperate effort to escape.
He merely looked around at the
convulsed passengers and grinned.
Then the hilarity awoke the young
woman and opening her large blue
eyes abe saw ber mis'ake. H uh
flashed cheek she stammered an
apology. "You needn't 'pologize
to me'' drawled ihe stranger: "I
didn't keer." -Mineral Wells In-

The longer we remaia in the
newspaper business' tbe more
cautious we are about what to
print and what not to print. The
man on tbe reel has no such
herniation. He knows St onoe
what to print and exactly bow
to run a newspaper. The man
who makes a specialty of giving
advice to others never stops to
consider whether be is competent
to give it. Tbe advice whioh hu
lenders may have been already
gone ovr by his victim. The
latter may have a dozen reasons
for adopting or rejecting it and
be may be thoroughly advised
already and thoroughly familiar
with the merits of tbe question in-
volved. Tue advice-giver as
rule doer not give advice prima-
rily tot our own a I vantage. He
simply wants to show yon bow
