The Democratic Central Com*
mittea of Swanson connty was
called to order av 2 o'clock p. m.
in Burnett’s Hail in Snyder, Fri-
day, Sept 16th, by the chairman,
A. J. Hunter.
A. J. Hunter was re-elected
chairman unanimously for a
period of two years.
The resignation of John H. An
deraon as secretary was accepted
And O. B. Bristow of Roosevelt
was unanimously elected secre-
tary for a period of two years.
W. A. Munson, O B, Bristow
and Joseph Beasley were chosen
members of the committee on
_ lotions.
W. P. Lott and P. L. Davis,
the democratic members of the
Swanson conuty election board,
were present and ohofered with
the preciuot committeemen and

chose the democratic members for
each of the nineteen voting pre-
cinct boards. Tire precinct offi-
cers will also serve fora period of
two years and should prepare lo
hold the coming general election.
Each member of the precinct
bourd is requested to confer with
the county board relative to any
information they may desire.-
The committee on resolutions
submitted the following report
which was adopted without a dis-
senting vote:
RESOLUTIONS
Snyder. Okla., Sept. 1G, 1910.
We, your committee on resolu-
tions, beg leave to submit the
following report:—
We endorse the actions of the
state Democrntio administration
and especially the acts of Gover-
nor Haskell in all things, and wo
hereby criticise those who have
at all times ti ied to bring unjust
criticism against him and his of-
ficial acts.
We pledge our support to the
state nominees of the Democrat
party from road overseer to gov
ernor, and stand ready to deliver
the goods either day or night.
We especially endorse the nom-
ination of Honorable 8oott Ferris
for representative of the Fifth
Congressional District. His

the best interests of the people in

mend them to every good citizen.
We desire to make special men-
tion of A. J. Hunter and John H.

county for more than one year.

and transacted by the duly elected,

such place aud in such manner as

Whereas the public business of
said County baa been transacted
teniporarilly, at Mt. Park, Okla-
homa, and,
Whereas, the facilities at Mt.
Park for the transaction of public
| business and accoramodationofthe
county officers are wholly in-
sufficient iu the way of buildings,
office rooms, archives for public
records, Hotel accommodations
and residences for the officers of
said county, und.
Whereas, upon a careful in-
vestigation of the facts, we find
that the Town of Snyder, bus
ample and sufficient, accommnd-
for the convenience of the public
und the officers of said connty to
properly and economically ad-
inister the affairs of tire county
government, with dir patch and
due regards for the safety of all
public records and proDerty en-
trusted to the charge of said Co-
unty officers, and,
Whereus, no connty sent had
been located by law for the trana-
ation of the business affairs of
