many things of interest were
discussed-an oil mill for Eldo-

enterprises and improvment*.
The following resolutions were
unanimously adopted with the
request that The Courier pub-
lish the same and ask other
papers friendly to the agricul-
tural people to please copy:
resolution no. 1.
Resolved that
bers of the County Union of
Jackson County, Oklahoma, are
opposed to the repealing or
amending section 9, article 9. of
our state constitution, to be voted
11 on April 25, believing it is
I • scheme of the railroads to de-
stroy the control of our corpora-
te commission over them, to
the detriment of the agricultural
classes.
resolution no. 2.
Resolved that we, the mem-
bers of the Farmers Union in
county session at Carmel, place
ourselves on record as being in
sympathy with and endorsing
the words of our governor, Hon.
Lee Cruce, in his able defense of
our state guarantee law govern-
ing state banks, as published in
the Daily Oklahoman of April
13, feeling that he has struck
the key note to a yital question
to farmers.
Signed by the committee on
resolutions.

on page 3 of this issue of The
Courier.
